GOOGLE AND META JOINTLY ACQUIRE MITT GROUP

In a landmark technology deal, Google and Meta today announced the joint acquisition of Mitt Group, an emerging experimental ecosystem known for its unconventional approach to AI strategy, digital media, and conceptual venture building.

The acquisition marks a rare collaboration between two of the world’s largest technology companies as they seek to expand their capabilities in next-generation content systems, AI-driven media, and experimental digital influence models.

Mitt Group, which had recently developed a network of entities including WXM, Cindy Wong Ltd, WXM Legal, and the conceptual innovation platform StarCloud, gained attention for blending strategy, storytelling, and technological experimentation in unconventional ways.

Under the agreement, Mitt Group’s projects and intellectual property will be integrated into initiatives across both Google and Meta’s broader AI and digital media ecosystems.

Industry observers noted that the move reflects a growing interest among major technology firms in acquiring smaller innovation labs capable of rapidly testing new digital concepts.

A joint statement from the companies said:

“Mitt Group represents a unique model of experimental thinking at the intersection of AI, content and strategy. Integrating this ecosystem into our platforms will accelerate new forms of digital creation and interaction.”

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
